Several months in the making, this was one of my favorite podcasts and it started with an unassuming book, Perking the Pansies, and it took right off from there. Covering everything from the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, to living an openly gay lifestyle in a conservative Muslim country, Jack’s candid and refreshing manner painted a genuinely personal picture of his life’s challenges and rewards. Even touching on his childhood travels, he always seems to add the kind of flavor that appears in his writing.
